03.01.2023- "Are You Aware of the Power in Your Chair?"

The talk titled “Are You Aware of the Power in Your Chair?”, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and supported by the Disabled Student Support Unit, was held on January 3, 2023, in the 3rd Floor Conference Hall. National Team athlete and coach Ahmet İlker Akın met with students during the event, which took place with great interest and high attendance from our university community.

25.11.2022-  Rectorate – Meeting with Students with Disabilities

As the Disabled Student Support Unit, we organized a heartwarming event attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek, where students enjoyed a sweet break from their classes. During the event, I had the honor—on behalf of the unit—to present our recent achievements in the YÖK Barrier-Free University Awards to our Rector. We proudly delivered 3 Blue Flags in the category of Accessibility in Education and 2 Green Flags in Accessibility in Socio-Cultural Activities, which we were awarded in the past months.

The "Breaking the Cycle: Accessible Cinema" webinar, organized by our university’s Disabled Student Support Unit, was held on January 4, 2022, at 4:30 PM on OSTİM Technical University's YouTube Channel. Moderated by Dr. Esra Yükseltürk, Coordinator of the Disabled Student Support Unit, the event featured Ezgi Yalınalp, Coordinator of the Breaking the Cycle: Accessible Cinema Project and Director of the Accessible Film Festival.
