Syllabus
Week 1: Technological Advancements and Economic Shifts
Content: The impact of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and blockchain on the economy. Examining how digitalization influences employment, productivity, and sectoral changes.
Week 2: Global Trade and Geopolitical Tensions
Content: The effects of trade wars, protectionist policies, and geopolitical risks on the global economy. A closer look at the U.S.-China rivalry and other regional conflicts.
Week 3: Industrial Policy: Recent Trends and Developments
Content: Recent developments in industrial policies and nations’ efforts to strengthen their economies. Discussion of support for strategic sectors, technological independence goals, and policies to enhance competitiveness.
Week 4: Climate Change and Sustainable Development in Economics
Content: The economic impact of climate change and sustainable development policies. Topics include green energy investments, carbon footprint reduction efforts, and environmental policies.
Week 5: Future Economic Trends and Predictions
